Elizabeth Gilbert once said,
In the end, though, maybe we must all give up trying to pay back the people in this world who sustain our lives. In the end, maybe it’s wiser to surrender before the miraculous scope of human generosity and to just keep saying thank you, forever and sincerely, for as long as we have voices.
For our part, we here at Searching Sophia’s Pockets are, as always, grateful for all of you. And for your generosity. And leaves that rustle. And…well, you get the picture.
So once a week, we invite you to share something you are thankful for with the community of Searching Sophia’s Pockets.
What’s your thankful thought for the week?
I am thankful for the ability to create my life on my own terms and the blessing of infinite possibilities for such a life.

For those who like introspection and careful consideration of life, check out Searching Sophia’s Pockets … you might be delighted with what you find …
Thanks John! “careful consideration of life”… I really love that. Autumn and I really appreciate your kind words. Thanks for being part of the community!
I’m thankful for the sunlight this morning that helped me wake up just early enough to have a cup of tea and say a prayer before the chaos of the day started. I’m thankful for precious moments of spontaneous thanks. And I’m thankful for all the inspiring people in my life!
This has been a rough week for me… and I have had so many supportive people around me! People who will listen, let me cry, give me a hug, and just listen.
And for babies. There’s a married couple in town that I’m really close to and they just had their second baby on Monday. I got to hold him and he’s SO SWEET! Babies make life better.
🙂 haha, babies really do! I love having my new place now, but sometimes I miss the family I lived with and thier kids who would always run up and give me hugs 🙂
